Whenever I phone up or pop into the surgery to get an appointment for the GP I want to see, I always get asked to phone up on the day first thing in the morning.
I cannot get time off on the day and need to plan ahead so cannot phone up on the day.
A lot of the time the automated system doesn't work properly and puts you on hold, or tells you there is no appointments available.
Very disappointed with the whole process of trying to see a GP. There should be enough appointments available, irrespective of how far ahead I want to book. And there should be spaces for people to see the GP on the day!
i and my family are very satisfied the services provided by this surgery but there is not privacy on reception desk some of staff speak very lodley and ask you some private question on front of other people all the Doctors and other saaff are very help full
The receptionists are very helpful and nurse Carole is very experience and very caring
I have always manage to get an appointment , doctors are very pleasant
If I am looking how to improve the place it would be to get the places tidy and clean ,the chairs in waiting area are dirty ,you need chairs that can be wipe over
Because some of your patient probably uncontinence of urine so you need to be able to wipe the chairs and I am sure I am sure it's is part of infection control requirement
I found Dr Wijith, extremely helpful, in establishing positive rapport with carers and health professionals caring for vulnerable patient. Very thorough and comprehnsive review, thinking through about each health problem systemactically.
Hi,
So basically, i'm really not happpy with the appointment system at all.
We get told to ring at 8.30 for a morning appointnemt, you ring at that time, and the surgery is full, how is that even possible, unless they have taken bookings from before, it wouldn't get full. If you ring at 8.30 on dot, then the surgery can't get full, there is no way.
If you need an urgent appointment, then you can't even get that. I rang at about 11.30, as it was urgent, but was told to ring after 3, now how does that work, where is the urgency in that.
Really don't understand it at all.
Thanks
